The Northeast Campus of TCCD needed to convert outdated open concept lecture rooms to current fully digital and wired lecture rooms. LBL designed 2 multipurpose lecture rooms and 2 dental lecture and x-ray labs. The renovation project also involved the creation of a new biology lab, green house and bio lecture room.  The biology lab features 3 laminar flow hoods, acid waste line system, sterilizers, ultra low temperature freezers and refrigerators. The project included change out of 3 outdated air handler units as well as a dedicated HVAC system for the lab.  A new 800 SF greenhouse was also a part of the project; the house includes a fully automated watering system and air ventilation.
